Venue terms
Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 15 September 2026.
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Card Loft Tamworth’s physical offline poker venue in Tamworth, New South Wales, including its poker room, card lounge, poker tables, restaurant and dining areas, reservation enquiries, and private-event arrangements. By attending, using venue facilities, or making arrangements with us, you take part in an in-person, face-to-face poker setting subject to these terms.
01 / Entry
Agreement and eligibility
-
Acceptance of terms
By entering, booking, attending, contacting, or otherwise using Card Loft Tamworth’s venue and services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. You also agree to follow reasonable venue directions displayed on site or communicated by staff, including directions relevant to poker areas, dining areas, and private events. If you do not agree with these terms or a reasonable venue direction, please do not proceed with a reservation, attend the venue, or use its facilities.
-
21+ only
21+ entry condition
Entry and participation are for guests aged 21 and over only. Card Loft Tamworth may request satisfactory proof of age before allowing entry or continued participation. A guest who refuses, or is unable, to provide satisfactory proof when requested may be refused entry or required to leave the venue. This condition applies across the poker room, card lounge, dining spaces, and private-event areas.
02 / Venue operation
Venue access and staff directions
-
Access to venue areas
Access to poker tables, the poker room Tamworth visitors come to use, the card lounge, restaurant, and other Card Loft Tamworth areas may be managed according to capacity, bookings, private events, safety, and operational requirements. Arrival or an enquiry does not by itself guarantee access to a particular table, area, service, or facility. We may organise access in a way that supports an orderly and respectful in-person venue environment.
-
Staff and table management
Professional table management is part of maintaining a respectful face-to-face environment. Guests must follow reasonable directions from Card Loft Tamworth staff about seating, table allocation, conduct, safety, use of facilities, and the orderly management of poker games. Where necessary, staff may direct movement between tables or venue areas to manage the physical space, guest comfort, safety, or an operational requirement.
-
Refusal and removal
Card Loft Tamworth may refuse entry, decline service, or require a guest to leave where conduct, safety, age verification, venue capacity, or non-compliance with these terms reasonably requires it. Guests should comply promptly with reasonable staff requests. This helps protect the orderly operation of poker, dining, event, and shared venue areas for everyone present.
03 / At the table
Poker room and player conduct
A competitive room still depends on consideration, clear table flow, and respect for every person taking part.
-
Respectful face-to-face poker
All guests must participate in face-to-face poker and use the card lounge respectfully. Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, abusive language, or behaviour that disrupts other guests or staff is not acceptable. Card Loft Tamworth welcomes serious poker players while expecting a competitive setting to remain considerate and professional for everyone present, whether they are at a table, in a shared area, dining, or attending an event.
-
Integrity of poker play
Guests must not interfere with real poker tables, cards, chips, seating, table flow, or another person’s play. Real poker depends on orderly, in-person participation, so guests must follow reasonable table-management instructions communicated by staff. These expectations apply to poker games generally and are intended to protect the physical table environment, rather than to define game-specific rules, stakes, or outcomes.
-
Privacy of play
Devices, recording, and privacy of others
Guests must not photograph, film, record, livestream, or otherwise capture other guests, staff, poker games, or venue areas without prior permission from Card Loft Tamworth and any affected people. This applies in poker and dining spaces alike. Staff may ask a guest to stop recording or to leave where necessary to protect privacy, table concentration, and the venue environment.
04 / Arrangements
Reservations, attendance, and changes
-
Reservation enquiries and requests
A request to reserve a poker table, attend poker games, arrange dining, or enquire about private events is subject to confirmation by Card Loft Tamworth and venue availability. An enquiry or request alone does not guarantee a table, place, service, or event arrangement. Please wait for venue confirmation before treating an arrangement as confirmed or making plans that depend on a particular area or service being available.
-
Arrival, capacity, and changes
Guests should arrive and participate according to their confirmed arrangement. Table allocation, access, timing, or services may need to change because of capacity, safety, operational requirements, or private events. Where a reasonable adjustment is needed, Card Loft Tamworth staff will manage it through venue directions and practical coordination within the physical venue.
-
Cancellations and guest updates
If you need to change or cancel a confirmed arrangement, contact Card Loft Tamworth as soon as reasonably possible using the published venue contact details. Timely communication assists table planning and private-event coordination. Please tell us promptly when your arrangement can no longer proceed so staff can make appropriate operational decisions.
05 / Shared spaces
Dining, private events, and venue property
-
Dining-area conduct
Restaurant and dining spaces form part of Card Loft Tamworth. Guests using those spaces must follow reasonable staff directions and behave respectfully, with the same care for safety and other people expected in the poker room. Dining is supporting venue context alongside poker, and these terms apply to the shared physical environment without creating a separate set of dining conditions.
-
Private event arrangements
Private events are subject to the details confirmed with Card Loft Tamworth and these Terms and Conditions. This includes arrangements involving poker tables, card lounge areas, dining, or other venue spaces. Capacity, staff directions, venue condition, and guest conduct remain relevant to every event, and guests attending an event must follow reasonable on-site requirements.
-
Care of venue property
Guests must treat venue property, furnishings, poker tables, cards, chips, dining areas, and other equipment with care. Please report accidental damage or an immediate hazard to staff promptly. Intentional damage, misuse, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal or further action as appropriate to the circumstances and these terms.
06 / Responsibility
Personal property, risk, and liability
-
Personal belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings while visiting Card Loft Tamworth. Please keep valuables attended and take reasonable care within the venue. We do not make any promise about storage, security services, or monitoring of personal items, so guests should remain mindful of belongings while moving between poker, dining, and shared spaces.
-
Participation at own risk
Guests participate in venue activities at their own reasonable risk. This includes face-to-face poker, dining, and events. Every guest must act with due care for themselves and others while using the venue. If you become aware of an immediate safety concern, notify a staff member promptly so it can be addressed in the context of the venue’s current operations.
-
Liability to the extent permitted
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Card Loft Tamworth is not responsible for loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience arising from a guest’s failure to follow these terms, staff directions, or reasonable safety requirements. Guests remain responsible for their own conduct and for taking reasonable care while at the venue. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes any right or protection that cannot legally be excluded.
